Navigating the shelves for skincare is daunting enough as it is. For guys, this was proving an almost impossible task, as Tanis experienced first-hand during her 10 years in the skincare industry.
Over time, the number of partners enquiring about specific products for their boyfriends and husbands increased, which proved one thing - Men were now looking for ways to begin their skincare journey, and do so in a serious manner. Despite this, the idea of walking into a store and picking up a select routine was still a foreign concept, as the number of products on offer, types of products, and confusing terms was proving too much for guys to grasp.
In 2020, Tanis and her partner Tim began talking daily about the space, specifically in Australia. For Tim, he understood that he was fortunate to have someone close to him who could help him navigate the space and point him in the right direction when it came to the products he required. Although this was the case, he realised that most guys weren’t in this position and consequently weren’t ticking the box when it came to this form of self-care.
Enter Othr Half. Having launched in April of this year, the Australian skincare brand has set out to provide simplified, high quality natural skincare solutions to men from all walks of life. Further to the products on offer, they pair wanted to develop a brand that would lay a platform for education. Tim and Tanis knew that it was one thing to create great products, but their true mission was to help men understand why they should be rounding out their self-care routine, the overall benefit of natural skincare formulations, and the plus side of maintaining a routine.

Othr Half has launched to the public with their hero pack, Baseline. Baseline consists of three fundamental skincare items.
