Even though peanuts are served as a salty snack with beer the richer nuts like cashews go well with wine. Some of the best wine pairings are cashews and pistachios with white wines like Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio or almonds and hazelnuts with champagne or chardonnay. Either way nuts and wine complement each other well and you can make your choice of pairings.

Another delicious wine pairing is grapes with wine. Lighter wines do well with tarter green grapes and richer wines with purple or black grapes. For a real treat before serving make sure the grapes are well chilled.
