The Use of Short Videos for Marketing Your Business in 2020

In terms of the ideal video length, there are different arguments to what the right length should be. Some studies show that two minutes is the sweet spot since this length is enough to give the necessary information about a product or service to viewers. On the other hand, some studies show that video ads that are 15 seconds or less are shared thirty-seven (37%) more than longer videos.   • Videos that market your products and services must contain only the essential information to reduce its length. It is best to make your message condensed and straightforward, while still being intriguing or entertaining to leave your viewers wanting more. 

 

Importance of Short Videos for Improving Marketing and Branding

There is a significantly higher chance that your target audience will watch short video content than them reading your businesses’ email blast. You can use brief video ads for the following purposes:

 

  • Messages from the CEO: With the current COVID-19 pandemic, you can send a short video from your CEO to instil confidence in your business by giving the current status and precautions that your company is doing against the pandemic. 
  • Reveal New Products and Services: Short videos will allow your company to explain what a new product or service is clearly. Use videos to show how to use your products correctly. 

 

Most people are already online, and they are watching videos every minute. If your company has not yet jumped on the video marketing bandwagon, it is about time that you start now.
